Bookstore manager. Born in 1903 in Leonard, Fannin County, Texas. Moved to Dallas after World War I and began work at the Methodist Bookstore as a stockboy. Became regional manager of Cokesbury Bookstore, a division of Methodist Publishing House, in 1946, and remained in that position until he retired in 1968.
